Sean Connery is a superior bond in almost every way. But im still voting for that leathery old bastard roger moore. Bond of the 80's. Also, he banged that ice skating, teenager in 'For Your Eyes Only.' Its tough to top lines like "Yes, well, you put your clothes on, and I'll buy you an ice cream."
Is this even a contest? Nobody did bond like Sean. Now if you had pit him against peter sellers or even timothy dalton, we may have had a contest.

While that is a great quote GC, he did not bang Bibi Dahl he refused her sexual advances, hence the quote....but every Bond had their great lines I just think Connery delivered them more convincingly than Moore...I mean what can beat "Run along now dear, man talk."
I liked Moore's portrayal of Bond better. He was more of a character at that point and Roger Moore is slicker and cheesier. This make sa a better agent. Plus, Octopussy! Sean is great but I grew up watching Roger, so in my mind he was first.
The two photos on the contest page say it all. Connery's photo shows a confident agent saying "I've got you covered mofo" Moore looks confused. Plus the way Moore is holding his hands, it looks like he's giving a fat woman a rectal exam.
i would've thought that i'd choose Connery, but nostalgia made me pick Moore. Moore gets points however for his dead on portrayal of himself/James Bond in the Cannonball Run. connery was 58 in never say never again. he should've said never again.
I grew up with Moore...not literally, but through his movies in the 70s-80s. The guy entertained me everytime and had me wanting MOORE each time thereafter. He's XvsY's Bond.
Connery was the cooler but the question is who is the better BOND...Roger is my pick. The guy was charismatic, smart and could fight when needed - an all around great 007. Woomp!

Besides Roger Moore being much cooler and more nostalgic than Connery, I also had to vote for him because he was in A View To A Kill...which has the best theme song (by Duran Duran).
