- Simon Pegg...this dude was Shaun of the Dead - respect. Since then...some highlights - Sgt. Nicholas in Hot Fuzz, the bearded cannibal in Grindhouse, Mission Impossible III, and he's gonna play Scotty in Star Trek (2009)
- The premise (without me looking it up) - Simon Pegg runs in a marathon, and he's fat, maybe he's trying to win over a girl. - also stars Thandie Newton, the great Hank Azaria and Harish Patel...this guy is a hilarious Indian actor. Props. - Directed by David Schwimmer - Ross from Friends. Ross once wore leather pants - only plays at 8:10 pm at Kips Bay Movie Theater with a running time of 97 minutes....sounds like the movie might be leaving the theaters soon... - dude, it's co-written by - Michael Ian Black...uhm, can someone say, The State, Crank Yankers & basically every Vh1 show...ever. - Box Office Mojo Budget - $10 million dollars - seems like this movie has underdog written all over it - the theme, the limited times it's playing. |

Please note - XvsY once escorted and looked after Kevin Spacey while working at the Late Show. This was after his role as Keyser Söze in the Usual Suspects. Mr. Spacey starred at XvsY like a starving cartoon character would stare at another cartoon and picture a big giant hot dog. After, I felt like I escaped the great Keyser Söze. Anyway, I digress.... - The premise (without me looking it up) - some smarty pants kids get really good at blackjack. The lead guy is like some math wizard. He learns how to break the bank at a casino. My guess - it's like the movie BLOW but in gambling. 1st half of the movie Blow - awesome. - inspired from a true story - Box office mojo Budget - 35 million - i have some choices...plays at the following times - 7:25pm | 9:15pm | 10:15pm @ Kips Bay movie theater with a running time of 123 minutes. |

I read the book for 21, it was fun, but fluffy. Perhpas XvY should stay home and watch something of higher quality like Beer Fest

Definitely go see 21! A really good movie based on a really good book. For some reason Run Fat Boy Run doesn't interest me in the least- Kinda like StiemyG's riveting comments.

21 was a for TV movie a long while back, about the same story but told more from more of an investigative reporting style. Was pretty weak. Once you marveled at the counting genius you spend the rest of the time waiting for him to get caught or pulling your teeth out thinking how stupid and greedy can one really smart kid be? Have to go with the dude from Shawn of the Dead.

That is disgusting Hal. Not as disgusting as XvsYs balls picture yesterday though. 21 looks boring. Blackjack is boring. There is something to be said about movies that stick it to the system but this does not appear to be one of them. Renting Falling Down or Pump Up The volume would give you a better feeling without the annoyance of cards. Too much card playing on tv anyway. How did that happen?

ended up seeing Run Fat Boy Run. So, what did i think of the movie you ask? well, when i got into the movie theater i had a full bottle of water. i started drinking it and about 90 minutes later (movie is 97 minutes) i had to go to the bathroom bigtime. like it hurt. i held it in, persevered...just like simon's character in the movie. i felt like i understood what his character in the movie was going through. his battle was with himself and not quitting on things in life, specifically finishing a race and not quitting. My struggle or battle was that i had to go to the bathroom but i couldn't leave the movie early (even though i could figure it out and knew what was going to happen). i persevered...I triumphed. the movie had some good jokes and it was forumulaic but it was aiight for a wed. at 8pm. would i go see it again?prolly not. on television, prolly not. okay, time to go eat some watermelon.
