1980s Movie Tournament: Second Leg

Pee-Wee's Big Adventure Short Circuit
Pee-Wee Herman (Paul Reubens) is on a mission to find his beloved Retro red bicycle which was stolen. In pursuit of recovering his bike, Pee-Wee visits a fortune teller who instructs him to look for his bike in the basement of the Alamo. He follows her advice and embarks on an epic journey which introduces him to characters more zany then he is.

Has there every been a better story told about a man and his bike? I think not. Pee-Wee was the greatest who only got better after teaming up with Tim Burton. Every time I hear "Tequila" I can't help but think of Pee-Wee's impromptu dance at the biker bar. I can't help but wonder what Paul Reubens would be doing now had he not been caught in those scandals (wanking it in a porno theater followed by possession of obscene images of minors).

Memorable dialogue:
Large Marge: Be sure and tell 'em, Large Marge sent ya! HA HA HA HA HA!
Newton Graham (Steve Guttenberg) and Ben Jabituya (Fisher Stevens) developed a series of robots proposed for use by the U.S. Military. After giving a presentation at Nova Corp. with the prototypes, a lightening storm causes a power surge which alters the programming on Number 5. Number 5 begins to malfunction and escapes from company grounds. Number 5 wanders to the home of Stephanie Speck (Ally Sheedy) who initially believes it is an alien. Due to its malfunction, Number 5 continues to demand more input. Stephanie continues to teach Number 5 everything and anything she can think of even after discovering it is actually a robot. Through Stephanie's input, Number 5 gains a newfound respect for life and fears it will die if it is returned to Nova. Number 5 does everything possible to evade capture. Inspired by the song "Who's Johnny?" it changes its name to Johnny 5. Johnny 5 cleverly builds a replica of himself and allows the military to destroy it. With the military and Nova off its back, Johnny 5 heads to Montana with Stephanie and Newton.

All I have to say is Steve Guttenberg had to make it in a tournament eventually.

Memorable dialogue:

Number 5: Number 5... is alive!

Number 5: Malfunction! Need input!

Number 5: No disassemble!
